Colourful giclee print based on a monochrome indian ink painting. You can read more about the inspiration and see work in progress images here.
The colours I added are the actual colours of the koi breeds. They are Sanke, Kigoi, Asagi, Tancho, Kumonryu, Matsuba, Utsuri, Goromo and Soragoi.
The print has no white border, as on the third image. The large one is shown in a 50cm x 50cm aluminium frame, the small one in a 23cm x 23cm wooden frame. (Please note, all art prints are sold unframed. The frames shown here are standard sizes which should be easily available. Otherwise having it custom framed by a professional is a great way to make the artwork stand out whilst matching it to your interiors and personal taste).
