Description
The print is taken from the original Koi II ink drawing but inverted, appearing like a photographic negative. When worn, the fish aren’t really noticeable but their texture appears as a monochrome pattern. You can see the original artwork and read about the inspiration here.
The colour of this scarf is dark charcoal rather than black. The wool is very soft and not scratchy, lightweight but warming and ideal as a winter wrap or long scarf around the neck. The quality of this Italian wool is much better than the ‘cashmere-modal’ mixes dominating the market right now (in my opinion they lack texture and shape, and the fabric degrades quickly because modal is not a sturdy fibre).
This is a unisex item and looks great on a man who can incorporate it into his style.
