Description
‘Fox Furs’ is a print from an intricate pen and ink drawing of three intertwined fox fur stoles.
The drawing was inspired by thoughts about animal spirits and practices of shamanism, and the seemingly stubborn remnants of ancient status symbols. This drawing also forms the basis of some of my signature scarf prints.
The large print is shown framed in a 80cm x 100cm frame*.
Part of the work evolving around my fascination with drawing fur. I’m searching for something mysterious in its texture and form. I believe it can reveal traces of an ethereal essence of the structure of living things.
* please note, all art prints are sold unframed. The frames shown here are standard sizes which should be easily available. Otherwise having it custom framed by a professional is a great way to make the artwork stand out whilst matching it to your interiors and personal taste.
