Can I return the item if I change my mind?
Yes. You have 14 days to claim a full refund or exchange, you only pay the return postage. Just reply to the order confirmation e-mail or get in touch through the website’s contact form. More details in T&C’s below.
Is the payment secure, and can I pay with any card?
You can either pay via direct bank transfer, or with PayPal®, a high-profile third party payment gateway. PayPal accepts all major credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, alternatively you can log into your own paypal account to pay. The payments are processed in a secure area on their site, and the company offers payment protection for buyers and sellers. We don’t get to see your account or card details. Please refer to PAYPAL’s terms if you are unsure of your protection. We will never pass your contact details to any third party.
Are you keeping my data confidential?
Absolutely. I/we never pass any of your details on to a third party, except for delivery purposes to the courier companies and newsletter mailing services, which will keep your data secure and confidential.

All ARLETTE ESS scarves and shirts come in custom made packaging and qualify for free delivery worldwide, trackable online. For all other items, delivery charges are specified upon ordering. We aim to dispatch items 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
Deliveries outside the EU: Please note that your local customs may add an import tax, which we can not predict nor take responsibility for.

Should you wish to return or exchange your purchase, you can do so within the first 14 days after receiving the goods. Please contact us for details. You can choose a full refund or an exchange, provided the goods are in the original packaging and show no signs of use, or any other degradation, marks or stains.
Please note the goods should be sent to us as recorded with a tracking number, and we will not refund the postage you incur to return the goods to us. Upon receipt of the goods in an acceptable condition as specified above, we will then despatch the refund to the account it originated from, or exchange according to your wishes. If you cancel an order before we dispatch it, there is no charge.
Returns from outside the EEC: The parcel must have a signed custom declaration attached to the outside of it. The only acceptable declaration is to tick the checkbox ‘OTHER’ and write the description ‘GOODS ORIGINATING IN THE UK RETURNED FOR CREDIT’ (in the absence of this declaration, we may have to pay import charges, which would have to be deducted from your refund)
We will never pass your details on to any third party, except for essential functionality like payment processing, delivery and newsletter e-mail service. If your payment is processed through Paypal®, it is encrypted and they have their own privacy and data protection policies.
If you receive a newsletter and hit the ‘unsubscribe’ button, your e-mail will be removed from the database.
We aim to dispatch items 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment. Exceptions may apply, we will inform you of these as soon as they become known to us. We cannot be held responsible for delays which are out of our control.
Due to the natural materials used for most of the products, some irregularities are part of their character. Our quality control checks every item before adding to the stock. Should you consider a product as faulty, you can contact us for a return or exchange, under the terms specified above.
We aim to use photographs which represent the product and colour as accurately as possible, but computer screens vary and can give an inaccurate impression of a colourway. For the wallpaper it is recommended to order samples first, as we can only refund unopened rolls or faulty rolls.
